OVERVIEW FOR NEW & RENEWAL:

This course covers lay-responder CPR for adults, children and infants, choking, use of an AED and basic first aid for urban settings. NOTE: THIS COURSE DOES NOT SATISFY HEALTHCARE PROVIDER CERTIFICATION.

BLENDED-LEARNING | eLEARNING
Health & Safety Institute (HSI/ASHI) CPR/AED & First Aid - BLENDED-LEARNING $65.00

PREREQUISITE: None
​
This course is becoming a popular option for those that want to spend less time in the classroom. This is a two step process.
​​
STEP 1: Complete the ONLINE course. This course is self-paced and you my start and stop as you need to. The online portion takes 1.5-2 hours to complete and can be accessed 24/7. [PTS will issue the link to you].
​​
STEP 2: Attend a practical skills evaluation. Participants MUST complete the online portion PRIOR to attending the skills evaluation with a qualified instructor (PTS has the ability to track your progress). The session usually takes less than an hour. You will demonstrate the skills for 1 and 2 rescuer CPR/AED, and a full understanding of your responsibility of your role while performing CPR.

Upon successful completion of online class and skills demonstration, students receive a card valid for two years. [The card is issued per the curriculum chosen].​

American Heart Association CPR/AED & First Aid - SKILL ASSESSMENT ONLY $75.00

This course is becoming a popular option for those that want to spend less time in the classroom. This is a three step process.

Step 1: Complete the ONLINE course. This course is self-paced and you mAy start and stop as you need to. The online portion may take 1-6 hours to complete and can be accessed 24/7. Step 2: Schedule a skills evaluation session with PTS. You will be required to email us the printed course completion certification prior to the skills session. *You may schedule a session PRIOR to completing the online portion.

Step 3: Attend a practical skills evaluation. Participants MUST complete the online portion PRIOR to attending the skills evaluation with a qualified instructor (a printed certification must be presented to your instructor). The session takes about an hour. You will demonstrate the skills for performing CPR/AED and/or First Aid, and a full understanding of your responsibility of your role while performing CPR, using an AED and First Aid.
